not been allowed
in a Single Family Residential zoned area since about 1974.
A recreational vehicle (RV) is defined as a structure manufactured at a factory in accordance with the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) and designed to be supported by wheels and axles to facilitate movement from place to place (i.e., motor homes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and camping trailers). Recreational vehicles cannot be permitted or installed as a single family residence. A mobile

(Rural Open Land District) |
Typically
one home
per 2 acres - May be a stick-built home, or manufactured home
(converted
or not converted to real property) providing the lot is a least 2
acres.
The R-U rural open land district is established for the vast areas of
rural
land and to provide for a very low density residential use.
(1) Small livestock farming and/or the keeping of cows, horses, sheep, goats or similar animals, hogs or pigs shall be allowed. One cow or one horse or two sheep or two goats will be allowed for each ten thousand square feet of lot area and one hog or pig per acre, but the total number of any combination of the above animals shall not exceed twenty nor shall the total number of pigs or hogs exceed five, other than their young under the age of six months. (2) A maximum of one hundred chickens or one hundred rabbits or similar animals will be allowed on a lot or parcel of land: provided, that all killing or dressing is done for the owner's consumption. (3) A maximum of one hundred pairs of chinchillas will be allowed on a lot or parcel of land: provided, that no pelting is done on the premises. (4) The keeping, breeding and raising of domestic animals will be allowed, but not for commercial purposes. (5) Aviaries (a large enclosure for confining birds). (6) Apiaries (beehives) |

(Residential Agricultural District) |
Typically
one home
per 1 acre - May be a stick-built or manufactured ** home
providing it is converted to real property (permanently affixed to a
foundation).
The R-A residential agricultural district is established for areas
particularly
suited for residential uses in conjunction with the raising of crops
and
animals and other related agricultural activities. (1) Small livestock farming and/or the keeping of cows, horses, sheep, goats or similar animals, except no hogs or pigs shall be allowed. per half-acre. May be a stick-built or manufactured
** home providing it is converted to real property (permanently

to a foundation). Some properties designated RE may not
allow
horses if the CC&R's prohibit them. The R-E rural estates
residential
district is established for areas particularly suited for low density
residential
uses and to the raising of crops and of a limited number of animals for
noncommercial purpose. (1) Small livestock farming and/or the keeping of cows, horses, sheep, goats or similar animals, except no hogs or pigs shall be allowed. homes . (1) Aviaries (a large enclosure for confining birds) for the keeping of not more than ten pigeons, doves, or similar small fowl (but not chickens or turkeys) and their young under the age of six weeks. |

One single-family residence or one manufactured home provided it is used as a single-family residence and is located on its own lot or parcel of land including all required yard area: the R-T manufactured home residential district is established to provide for residential areas which would be compatible for the development of a mobile home and manufactured home residential use, and to prohibit the development of incompatible uses that are detrimental to the residential environment |

8 Units per Acre. The R-2 medium density residential district is established to provide for the development of single- family and two-family residential uses and to prohibit the development of incompatible uses that are detrimental to the residential environment. |

18 Units per Acre. The R-3 multiple-family residential district is established to provide for the development of medium density residential use and to prohibit the development of incompatible uses that are detrimental to the residential environment. |

25 Units per Acre. The R-4 multiple-family residential district (high density) is established to provide for the development of high-density multiple-family residential use and to prohibit the development of incompatible uses that are detrimental to the high-density residential use. |

50 Units per Acre. The R-5 apartment residential district is established to provide for the development of high-density apartment residential use and to prohibit the development of incompatible uses that are detrimental to the high-density residential use. |

Shopping
center
district is defined as a group of retail stores ordinarily planned and
designed as a unit and built accordingly on a site. They are
planned
to be located away from the general business district to serve the
needs
of suburban and fringe growth. Developments in the shopping
center district will enhance traffic safety through provisions for
proper
traffic routing and car parking; provide freedom from the traffic
congestion
on public streets through the provision of adequate off-street parking;
off-street loading and adequate ingress and egress; and protect the
residential
character of neighborhoods through provisions of adequate and suitably
treated business-area open spaces at boundaries adjacent to residential
uses.
